Thursday 18th August sees the first of many CloseUp x Ticketweb showcases at BLEACH Brighton. We have 4 of the Souths most hotly tipped acts and we simply cannot wait.
Headlining the show, local lads The Island Club. After recent single ‘Let Go’ fired them into the indie mainstream racking up a more than impressive 750k plays on Spotify recently. Arguably the most hyped band coming out of Brighton at the moment, following in the footsteps of previous local names Fickle Friends and High Tyde’s success seems a guarantee.
Another of Brighton’s most loved children will also be no doubt hotly anticipated at this edition of CloseUp x Ticketweb. Voodoo & The Crypts are replacing Howland, but have been on the CloseUp radar for a while and we are delighted to have them down. Indie-pop with a melancholic twist seems to be working a treat for these guys.
Old friends JUDAS will perform at our debut BLEACH showcase, with a summer jam packed full of festival appearances from Y NOT to Isle of White. Soaring stadium rock is an overused yet fitting way to describe their sound, perhaps even more like a more socially aware Catfish and The Bottlemen could also work too. Don’t miss their Brighton debut.
SEATS, 4 BIMM graduates who have been building hype throughout 2016. Their run of high profile support slots continues as they steadily embark on a rise through Brighton’s scene.
