Lost In Vancouver – Juliet: Single Review

Reminiscent of early Catfish and The Bottlemen but with a far better name, Edinburgh boys Lost In Vancouver recent single ‘Juliet’ outlines why these could be the best thing to come out of Scotland since Kenny Dalglish, or musically at least, The View’s first album.

The track opens with powerful guitar, instantaneously grabbing the attention of the listener. In fact, i’d imagine as with us, your first thought is ‘Phoar, this would be great live’. The track continues to grow into a classic 90’s Brit-pop anthem, but it has a rambunctious and edgy twist, which in turn brings it into the 21st century.

Lost In Vancouver are still in the early stages of their development, but with tracks like this, (Single ‘Taxi’ is also well worth your time), it can’t be too long before they make the long journey into England for regular slots.
