CloseUp x Ticketweb Presents: The Bulletproof Bomb + Supports

Ticketweb has teamed up with CloseUp Promotions to showcase the best emerging talent. This will be done through monthly events at Bleach in Brighton to curate the best up and coming indie and electronic acts in the area and nationwide.

The second of these events takes place on September 22nd and features, SuperGlu, Submariner, Safe to Swim, and The Bulletproof Bomb.

Straight off the back of their electrifying Reading and Leeds BBC Introducing performances, SuperGlu will be heading down to Bleach to hit the CloseUp x Ticketweb stage. With their own unique brand of DIY alt/rock, make sure you don’t miss one of the most hyped acts of recent times.

Submariner play ambient indie rock with a strong, focused musicianship. Making their CloseUp debut, they have built a reputation through supporting the likes of Fatherson and Bel Espirit, a remarkable achievement for a band who only formed last year.

Safe to Swim, who will play their first hometown show in nearly five months, are also carving a strong reputation. Their new single ‘Pieces’ has been featured on BBC Introducing, and are also supporting All Tvvins at the Hope and Ruin in Brighton. Their sound is a fresh concoction of alternative rock with a hint of Catfish and the Bottlemen, with elements that will captivate and surprise you.

Headlining the event are The Bulletproof Bomb. The five-piece from Sutton arrive with an infectious energy reminiscent of the punk scene, along with relatable lyrics about everyday life. With their reputation growing quickly with the release of their new EP Sportswear Punk and a show at Ibiza Rocks, they are a band you don’t want to miss out on.
