King No-One – Halo: Single Review

York Indie-rockers King No-One are back. New track ‘Halo’ offers a heavier and darker twist comparatively to their back catalog, a sound that seems to suit them perfectly.

Don’t be fooled by the intricate guitar lick opening and shoegaze backdrop, ‘Halo’ talks of lust and desire for a certain someone and what comes of that, with lyrics such as ‘Don’t rectify my innocence, cus I don’t have any’ thickening the plot.

Often seen busking on the streets of their hometown, KNO have worked to get where they are now, so make sure you catch them as they embark of a spattering of tour dates this Autumn, most notably their KOKO headline for Club NME.
