Fairchild – Relevance: Single Review

Just when you thought Fairchild couldn’t get any more hypnotic and alluring, their back with mesmerizing new track ‘Relevance’. Arguably their most cleanly produced track, the Australian 6-piece look set to end 2016 on a high.

Lead singer Adam Lyons admitted himself that his vocals on this track were key, with minimal chord progressions and a gradual, yet anticipation growing drum-beat, this track builds and builds like some sort of pressure cooker, ready to blow at any moment. Lyrically grabbing, the hook ‘Just give it up, give it up, give it up..’ acts as like a metaphor taunting the listener, as we wait for the chorus to burst into life.

Make sure you catch them at Club CloseUp on November 25th, their last London show for quite some time promises to be quite the party if last time is anything to go by, where we saw crowd invasions, relationship hi-jacking and lots of Jagermeister.
