Marsicans – Friends: Single Review

Straight off the back of signing to LAB records, Leeds boys Marsicans have released hotly anticipated new single ‘Friends’. After a massive 2016 which saw them perform up and down the country whilst also hitting the Glastonbury stage (amongst several other feats) their new single embodies just why everybody loves Marsicans.

‘Friends’ discusses the idea of missing those you don’t see as often as you’d like to, and how easy it is for friendships to dissolve as age creeps up on even the best of us. However
their unique sound gives it the classic Marsicans spin, with upbeat guitars and harmonies around every corner.

Described as ‘Dirty Indie Pop’, make sure you catch these guys as they head out on their UK headline tour this Feb/March, they are one of the best live bands about.
