Preview: Club CloseUp (w/ Jagermeister) 14/4/17 – Little India + Support

Club CloseUp (w/Jagermeister UK) is back again this month and they’ll be gracing Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen with three more pre-eminent bands from the industry so far in 2017.

Vancouver 4-piece headline act Little India are giving Close Up Promotions the opportunity to expose their sound to the British public with their very first UK show. With a selection of unique hooks here and a little bit of electronic sampling there, they proudly portray through their Canadian and South African heritage with a kind of Nostalgic Rock tallied with the feelings endured from an 80s indie band. Heading out this summer to build their reputation with appearances at an array of UK festivals, this anticipated performance at Hoxton is surely one to not miss!

Main support comes from East-London’s very own Shanghai Blues who will be returning to Club CloseUp but this time ushering us some new material for our ears to get a load of. Having recently garnered an abundant amount of attention from the likes of BBC Introducing and Spotify’s Taste Makers, the boys are back with their new release Night Tears and if recent gigs are anything to go by, we can’t wait to see the emotion they evoke from this live performance.

Sprouting from Guildford and adding to the bill, FOXE, will be opening the show. Promoting an upbeat surfy-pop sound, this trio display melodious jangles mixed with flush harmonies and soothing vocals. With their latest release Bubblegum, the band are sure to be parading gigs across the UK so come catch them at Hoxton on the 14th of April!
