BESTIVAL 2017: Artists Not To Miss (Part 1)

Bestival is back this year, albeit with a new home in Dorset after Rob Da Bank’s incredible arts festival has moved from its humble beginnings on the Isle Of White.

We’ve got a breakdown of who we won’t be missing this year!

Blossoms

One of the UK’s, if not Europe’s most exciting artists aptly hit the Souths most exciting festival. Their anthemic indie rock will now doubt wow ‘The Box’ stage at this years event, and they are easily one of the artists we absolutely cannot wait to see.

Check out their single ‘Honey Sweet’ below.

FOURS

An artist we frequently work with at CloseUp, their unique brand of indie-pop is the perfect fit for the notoriously ‘feel good’ Bestival. Catchy hooks, effortless vocals and powerful synths have seen them take centre-stage as one of London’s most exciting artists.

Check out their past single ‘Fade to Love’ here.

Wild Front

Since their recent formation, Southampton/Brighton 4-piece Wild Front have been going from strength to strength. With crazy streaming numbers and some huge live shows, their Bestival set on the Invaders of the Future stage will no doubt be a highlight of an incredible debut year.

Check out their single ‘Rico’ below.

Sean McGowan

One of the UK’s feel good stories, much like his now friend Frank Turner, Sean has toured the circuit building up hype and much needed experience (including a slot at the first ever CloseUp Festival) and is now well on his way to becoming one of the countries most hyped singer-songwriters. Don’t miss him at this years festival.

Check him out below.

That’s it for our part 1 of who not to miss at Bestival 2017! Keep your eyes peeled for part 2 soon!
