BESTIVAL 2017: ARTISTS NOT TO MISS (PART 2)

Bestival is back this year, albeit with a new home in Dorset after Rob Da Bank’s incredible arts festival has moved from its humble beginnings on the Isle Of White.

Loyle Carner

The South-London honed hip/hop extraordinaire will hit the Bestival Castle stage this year, we caught him last year and the set is not to be missed.

With his debut album nothing short of a masterpiece, his social commentary and heartfelt lyricism will no doubt get the Bestival crowd moving.

YONAKA

Brighton’s own YONAKA will grace the new look Bestival on the Invaders of The Future stage this year, and their an artist we can’t wait for. Having seen them numerous times, their captivating and passionate take on Indie/Rock is something that has to be seen live.

Joe Goddard

Jagermeister are good friends of ours here at CloseUp, and they’ve pulled out all the stops for this years Jagerhaus stage. Formerly of high flyers Hot Chip, Joe’s solo stuff fits right into the Bestival aesthetic. Positive vibes a plenty will be on show when he headlines the Jagerhaus.

Alice Jemima

If you’re looking for seductive vocals and soft yet catchy hooks at this years Bestival, then look no further than Devon’s very own Alice Jemima. Her cover of ‘No Diggity’ fired her into the electronica stratosphere, and since she’s not looked back with a debut album now available for all to hear.
