If you’ve not heard of YVES before, prepare to be astounded by their vigorous melodies and anthemic chorus’, soaked in thunderous guitars and gritty vocals. Their latest single ‘Hell from Your Hello’ was released just the other week and continues on the indie rock path that they lead from. Previous releases include the boisterous ‘You Wanna Know’ through to the zealous ‘Only One’, that show off their rich passion and power. The trio from Swindon have always played music together but only formed YVES in 2016 and are certainly making a noise for themselves ever since. They’re one of the most exciting bands on the scene at the moment and this will be their biggest London headline show to date that kicks of their UK wide tour.
Southampton/London based CloseUp lads Bel Esprit will be showing you what they’re made of as they pack some punch into their instrument playing and display their powerful alternative indie sound, performing tracks such as the addictive ‘Follow The Sun’ which was released back in November, and the tender ‘Crucible’. They’ve been championed by the likes of Rob Da Bank, BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing as well as having performed at festivals such as the Isle of Wight, so you know you’re in good hands with these guys.
If you’re into bands such as Royal Blood and The Editors then make sure you get down early to catch rock quartet Farebrother who will be opening the show. They’ll be travelling from Bath to share their explosive energy and set the tone for the night. Just the opening of their track ‘A Little Late’ will get you fired up, along with the exhilarating sounds of ‘Rewind’. They’re experts at percussion-soaked, rambunctious songs and will be sharing their enthusiasm that will have you rocking out in no time.
Tickets for the night are just £7 from TicketWeb. Get yours here: https://goo.gl/ML3kgX
