This Wednesday you’ll want to head on down for Club CloseUp at Hoxton Square Bar + Kitchen in association with Jägermeister where we have a killer line up of some of the best indie up and comers on the scene right now. If you’re up for a mid-week party, then you won’t want to miss out.

Headliners of the night come from Brummy lads RISCAS who are no stranger to a CloseUp show. They’ll be bringing along their soul warm, toe-tapping, energetic sounds to the stage as they perform tracks such as ‘Talk Your Mind’, ‘Right Kinda Day’, and ‘Panic Like Tom’ which has had over 2 million Spotify streams. Their latest single ‘Complex’ is abundant with jangly guitars and vibrant riffs accompanied with those ever important gritty indie vocals. The band have had an incredible 2018 so far, being hotly tipped as ones to watch and gaining support from BBC Introducing, Radio 1, Dork magazine and many more as well as having supported the likes of Pale Waves and played festivals nationwide. As they continue to rise up you will definitely not want to miss out on this headline show.

CloseUp lads Arcade Hearts will be gracing the stage bringing their enthusiastic indie pop disco sound. Drawing inspiration from 80s music, be dazzled by their vigorous riffs, contagious harmonies and zippy synths. Arcade Hearts are no strangers to the stage and will captivate you with their energy and passion. At the end of September, the band dropped ‘EP’ a 4 track release which includes the catchy ‘Vanity’ and the exuberant ‘Humble’. They’re nothing short of upbeat songs and will have you burning holes in the floor for sure.

Openers for the night are VICTORS, a four-piece who will be travelling down from Leeds to get the party started. The band have adopted the 80s infused style in their music and the results are atmospheric and euphoric. Influences come from a range of different artists from Michael Jackson to Slipknots to Wu-Tang Clan. Their track ‘Tonight’, released back in 2016 has had over 1 million streams on Spotify and is an upbeat yet chilled track singing of a relationship in turmoil and that’s what the band do best, they sing songs that are relatable touching on subjects such as mental health and relationships which are brought to life with their unique sound. ‘Slow Down’ is awash with electro beats and dreamy guitars and will create for you. You’ll want to get down for doors on the night as so to catch these guys.
