Coming Up: Dr. Vades + Jungle Brown

If you’ve not yet checked out our new Notting Hill Arts Club shows then you’re missing out! So far they’ve all sold out, and our next session on the 21st November is FREE!

We’re honoured to have the multi-platinum selling Dr Vades joining us for what’s set to be a wild night. Known professionally as Dr Kane & Jay Vades, Dr Vades are a production duo from East London who have worked with the likes of Stormzy, Popcaan, Tory Lanez, RAYE and many many more. They’re artists at combining the influences of R&B, pop, hip-hop, electronica and afrobeat to create outstanding tracks that you won’t be able to stand still to. ‘You’re The One‘ has had over 3 million streams on Spotify and has a 90s dance anthem feel to it, whilst ‘Freaky‘ featuring Wande Coal and Beenie Man is an urban dancehall sensation. Their 2018 release ‘Deja-vu‘ with Burna Boy & K-Trap heads down more of a grime route, showcasing the variety of exceptional music this duo can construct, and we can guarantee this set will have you gripped.

Also joining us for the night will be Jungle Brown, ‘a dynamic collective rooted in soulful hip-hop, worldly in taste [who] find freedom in forward-thinking ideas‘. Jungle Brown began their career back in 2016 when they dropped their debut album ‘Flight 314‘ with no marketing or promotion and managing to reach over 400,000 streams on their own. Off to a flying start, they’ve been working hard across the years earning a place in Apple Music’s ‘Best of 2016’ as well as having had support from Spotify, Tidal, NME, Kiss FM and BBC ever since. Their roots stem from hip-hop and their passion for creativity and innovation sees no boundaries in tracks such as ‘Keep it Movin’‘ with its elements of jazz combined with rap to create that soulful hip-hop sound that they strive for. The effortless sounds of ‘Day to Day‘ and ‘We on‘ echo the talent as it fills your very own soul with feel-good beats.

They’ve supported artists such as Ghostface Killah, De La Soul and Prodigy and played not one, but two sets at Glastonbury in their time, so you won’t want to miss out on the chance to see Jungle Brown in the intimate settings of Notting Hill Arts Club.
