Arcade Hearts have been making a name for themselves since their formation, regularly being championed by BBC Introducing in the south and Indie kingpin Huw Stephens. Melodic Indie-pop at its finest, having already supported the likes of Fickle Friends, Jerry Williams, Youth Club & more in recent times, after 2018 slots at The Great Escape, CloseUp Festival, City Sound Project and more alongside their debut EP, they continue to propel themselves towards the top.
Birthday Card are a 5 piece from Brighton whose music style is best described as a concoction of melancholy pop, a whirlpool where 80s new wave comes colliding with 21st-century synthpop. You’ll hear sun-kissed guitar riffs, pensive vocals and infectious earworms throughout their songs.
Described as “pop hitmakers in the making”, they’re well versed in live shows having played a plethora of them throughout the year, bringing their passion and energy to the stage to give you a set like no other. With three incredible singles under their belt – ‘Heartstops’, (which has had 28k+ views and streams across platforms), ‘Berlin’ and ‘Something Like Heaven’, Birthday Card are certainly ones to watch for 2019.
Beach For Tiger
Somewhere between psychedelia, shoegaze & indie lie the dreamy sounds of London’s Beach For Tiger. Having sold out LDN’s Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen amongst other notable achievements, the quintet look set for a big 2019 after the release of the much coveted ‘Toffee’ EP.
With his unique multi-genre style sitting somewhere in between indie & grime, Franko Fraize has amassed a solid nationwide fanbase, utilising catchy hooks and cutting sharp lyricism. He has sessioned at the iconic Maida Vale for Huw Stephens and supported the likes of Mike Skinner, The Enemy, Rudimental, Reverend & The Makers & more, his live set can fluctuate to anything from warehouse rave to stadium rock.
The Kent trio have grabbed the eyes of many since their formation in early 2015, taking their unique dark-indie to stages across the UK & further afield. Alfie, Jake & Grant are masters of huge choruses and intricate guitar licks. If you like Foals, Island or White Lies, you’ll love GLASS PEAKS.
Having gained support from the likes of BBC Introducing, Metro, Spotify & Absolute Radio, 2018 will sen their biggest UK tour to date, with a landmark London headline also boxed off. The New Coast
The New Coast is the moniker of East London duo Nick Blyth and Chris Cheater. Born from an infatuation with American cinema and pop culture, The New Coast have created their own distinct style of pure Indie Pop, whilst selling out numerous LDN headlines along the way. With 4+ million streams online and more music on the way, expect lots of exciting moves from The New Coast in the coming months.

SHANGHAI BLUES have been making a name for themselves all over London for their soaring choruses and Catfish and The Bottlemen-esque anthemic indie. Shanghai Blues have already travelled the length and breadth of the UK within the first year of forming and continue to sell out London shows to their insatiable fan base.
The band have been racking up Spotify plays and building hype with appearances on several high-profile lists including The Indie List, Hot New Bands and Fresh Finds, plus support at Apple Music (Best Of The Week), Abbie McCarthy (BBC Introducing, Radio 1) and various international radio stations. Music Week, It’s All Indie, Punktastic and a swathe of other blogs have also recently lent their voices to the band’s lengthy list of early champions.
There have been few acts nationwide that have started 2018 as excitingly as Liverpool 4-piece SPINN. Supporting the likes of Ten Fe & The Sherlocks whilst gaining their debut Radio plays from Huw Stephens & Steve Lamaq amongst other huge feats.
Past single ‘Notice Me‘ sits on over 2.4 million streams on Spotify, whilst consistent double playlisting on the notorious ‘Indie List’ & ‘Dreampop’ playlists has aided their development into a nationally touring band, with 2 nationwide runs under their date and many of the dates on their September headline tour selling out, Europe & more beckons.
